Seasonal Patio Furniture Protection Checklist

A seasonal check is a useful time to review your furniture arrangement, cover fit and care instructions. It is not a reason to assume that every cover is suitable for year-round outdoor exposure or every weather condition.

Before a change of season

• Check the furniture manufacturer's storage and care instructions.
• Measure again if the furniture arrangement or stored position has changed.
• Inspect the cover, seams and any supplied fastening components.
• Read the selected model's intended use and exposure limits.

During use

Follow the cover's installation, drainage and care guidance. Do not infer UV, snow-load or wind resistance from an image or from another product's specifications. When instructions recommend indoor storage or removal in certain conditions, plan for those requirements rather than relying on a cover alone.

Before storage

Clean the cover only as its label permits and allow it to dry fully before folding. Store it in a dry place away from sharp objects, then inspect it again before reuse. Appliance covers need the appliance manufacturer's specific safety and operating guidance.
